FORT CAMPBELL [TN] DENYING SOLDIER TO ACCOMPANY HIS WIFE TO FORTH SHAFTER [HI]

SGT David Scott [Army] who's served 17yrs 9mos, 3 tours in Iraq, 2 in S.Korea & 1 in Afghanistan [all 12mo or more] has been denied being able to accompany his wife [SGT 1st Cl] Jaida Scott to her duty station in Fort Shafter Hawaii. The reason given is because Hawaii is a 3 yr tour & David has less than 3 years in the Army.
Families should not be separated please sign this petition asking Congress to push this move forward! ~Thank you

Why is this important?

Sgt David Scott [my brother, U.S. Army] was just married to Sgt 1st Class Jaida Scott [Aug '13]. Jaida was just assigned to Fort Shafter in Hawaii. Hawaii is a 3 yr tour. David has been in the army 17 yrs, has 4 deployments [1 Afghanistan- 3 Iraq] & 2 unaccompanied tours. He's not being allowed to accompany his wife due to Hawaii being a 3 yr tour and he only has 2 yrs & 9 mo of service left. Families shouldn't be split. Please sign this petition so it can get to Congress or President Obama.
