We ask that legislature include funding for the New York State Spinal Cord Injury Research Program in the budget this year.
Why is this important?
Millions of dollars in New York State speeding-ticket surcharges meant for spinal cord injury research are instead disappearing into the state general fund. These funds are needed to do the important work they are supposed to be used for - spinal cord injury research.
