GDL Should no longer be enforced
Abolish GDL from the state of New Jersey so that our young drivers are not being highlighted to Sex offenders or child molesters.
Why is this important?
GDL restricts young drivers with extra laws when driving; these include a curfew, as well as only being able to have one other person in the car with them. The law also mandates that GDL drivers need red stickers on their license plates, doing this makes it visible to people who would want to hurt in some way these young drivers. This has also made me not able to fulfill tasks such as driving family members to the airport to see family.
