Gender Neutral Bathrooms at Lawrence University
This petition of Lawrence University community members signifies that there is a need for, (and great interest in having) accessible, centralized gender neutral bathrooms in all academic buildings, all residence halls, and offered on each floor based on a democratic vote by the 2014-2015 year.
Why is this important?
There are many buildings on campus that do not have have a centralized, accessible, gender neutral bathroom, making some community members choose a bathroom where they may be discriminated against or simply unwelcome, (because of their gender expression or the way they look.) No person at Lawrence should go through this situation day after day without acknowledgement and action taken!
Sign this petition if you are willing to have at least one gender neutral bathroom in all buildings on campus available along side gendered bathrooms.
