Get Genetically Engineered Foods Labeled in Massachusetts!

Labeling genetically modified foods (GMOs) is a common-sense consumer right that has been ignored in America for far too long. Just as shoppers expect to see the calorie count of items on supermarket shelves, they deserve to know if their food is made with genetically engineered ingredients.

Please support legislation to require labeling on all GMO foods in Massachusetts.

Why is this important?

Genetically engineered foods are untested, unlabeled and potentially unsafe.

Already, more than 60 countries around the world use labels to inform their citizens if their food has been genetically modified in a laboratory. It's time that we share that basic right. If the same companies can label foods containing GMOs in Russia, China and South Africa, surely they can label food here in Massachusetts as well. Tell your state legislators to support GMO labeling today!
