Get Move On engaged in a different type of petitioning
Populists In Action (www.populistsinaction.org) is drafting legislation to provide public financing of elections in Missouri. We are planning to use the initiative process, which involves getting physical petitions signed in person by registered voters, to place this proposal on the ballot in 2016. In order to succeed, we will need all the help we can get. I hereby petition the political action wing of Move On to get engaged in our effort.
Why is this important?
Money has corrupted our political system. Both major parties have been corrupted. Public financing of elections must be available as an option to qualified individuals who want to run for office without becoming indebted to special interests.
