Why is this important?
Pete Rose is the all-time hit leader and an absolute treasure to the game. It’s time the MLB moves on from him betting on his own team to win. It’s actually ridiculous for the MLB to use something so insignificant to the game as a reason to keep one of, if not the greatest baseball player of all time, out of the game. If Pete isn’t in the Hall of Fame by 2025(wayyyyyy too late!), the MLB has failed to show growth and commitment to the real fans of this great game.
