Give Jim Acosta Back His Press Credential
Jim Acosta was wrongly accused of 'touching' a female White House staffer who grabbed Mr. Acosta's microphone. The video is very clear, yet, Sarah Huckabee Sanders revoked his White House press pass indefinitely.
Why is this important?
Jim Acosta is a CNN White House reporter. We believe his press pass was revoked not only for the incident last night, but because President Trump who referred to how the 'press' treats 'Sarah Huckabee' during his rallies and press conferences. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has attacked Mr. Acosta during afternoon press conferences upon multiple occasions.
Ms. Sanders issued a lengthy lie-filled account on her Twitter feed last night and also released a doctored video from a right-wing conspiracy program.
What this White House seems to ignore is written clearly in the First Amendment of the constitution. Jim Acosta is representing the American people by asking questions on our behalf.....questions this White House refuses to answer. The White House needs to remember they work for the American people.
