The voters shall retain the right to recall all statewide elected officials after one year in office AT WILL.. The number of signatures required will be 10% of the total number of voters in the previous, regularly scheduled gubernatorial election.
Why is this important?
Sometimes, we elect statewide officials who have veered too far from their what they said in their campaign, who are incompetent, or have simply changed parties. We need to be able to recall elected offials at will after one year in office.
