The Surgeon's General report on the Tobacco Industry changed the lives of Americans for good by revealing the links between cancer and tobacco. With about ONE in THREE individuals suffering from obesity in this country, it is time to push the Surgeon General to seek the truth on the Beverage Industry. The American Cancer Society (ACS) took the first step by asking the Surgeon General to produce a study on the harmful effects of sugar-sweetened drinks like Coke and Pepsi.
