Google actively promotes companies that advertise and sell military style weapons and paraphernalia. Google Shopping lists companies that sell guns directly over the internet; Youtube hosts thousands of videos that celebrate, advertise, and instruct people on the use of these products.
Most people working at Google have strong principles and try to do the right thing. It's time for management to demonstrate a level of social responsibility consistent with the company's influence and market power.
Google's leadership team doesn't have to take a public position on the first and second amendments; it just needs to take a position on its corporate values. If you say "Don't be Evil", then explain and demonstrate what you mean.
