Donald Trump has recklessly announced that he will pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement, which has been signed by 195 countries in an effort to stop catastrophic climate change, which is accelerated by carbon pollution.
In response, governors from California, New York, and Washington have launched a coalition committed to the carbon reduction efforts called for under the Paris agreement.
Gov. Ige, will you join with these other governors to enlist Hawai'i in this new coalition and do everything you can to fight climate change?
Why is this important?
Hawai'i will be highly affected by climate change and should be one of the leaders in our country to do all we can to mitigate it.
