Stop dodging the voters and agree to a primary debate. Debates are crucial to our democracy, and Rhode Islanders deserve to hear the candidates discuss their positions on issues crucial to our state.
Why is this important?
Voters have made numerous attempts to contact the Governor and her campaign -- in-person, through dozens of calls to her office, and through the press. But she still refuses to agree to debate. We are signing this as a concerned citizens, asking the Governor to agree to three debates before the Democratic primary on September 12, for the good of the state and the electorate.
