Government Anti-Corruption Petition
Enact laws that end the constant cycle of fundraising that takes
time away from legislators actually legislating. Make a more even
playing field for all candidates. To keep the people better informed, and allow a truer representation
of the will of the people to legislators.
Why is this important?
We need to fight against corruption in our government! I haven't talked to anyone, no matter their political beliefs, that doesn't think this is the root of most if not all of our problems. So i've come up with this short list of remedies to fight against the corruption that is crippling our great country.
1. Publically fund all campaigns local, state and national.
2. Cap the amount of money each candidate could spend
proportionate to the office they are seeking.
3. Require all media as a condition of their license to operate
in this country, to provide equal time to all qualified candidates
and their views.
4. Outlaw the lobby system. Make receiving gifts or money etc.
i.e. any compensation or promise of such an act of treason
and punishable as such.
