Move the United States closer to a true Democracy and make our government leaders and officials earn a salary more representative of their constituents.
Why is this important?
The United States of America is a Democracy, and the people we vote for represent US. If they would truly like to represent the people, then they should, at most, receive a salary that averages what people in their districts earn. It would cut costs and reduce debt.
