Stop the Governor from redirecting $75,000,000 of ROAD HOME MONEY to the Superdome.
Why is this important?
Governor Jindal (Louisiana) is redirecting $75,000,000 of Road Home funding to the Superdome Arena, after spending more than $100,000,000 for Hurricane Katrina related repairs. Road Home funds was intended for Citizens to rebuild and get back into their homes after Hurricane Katrina. Many Families STILL have not recevied assistance to return to their homes.
We are demanding that the Governor and Legislature use these funds for the Citizens of New Orleans its intended purpose.
