Governor Maggie Hassan: Help New Hampshire Go Solar
Solar energy is on the upswing across the nation, and in the New England region. It is taking off on rooftops and communities across the region.
But, we are falling behind our neighbors in our efforts to tap clean local energy sources; like solar energy.
We must do much more.
I urge your administration to keep New Hampshire on a path to a cleaner energy future by committing to 10,000 solar rooftops in state by the end of the decade.

Why is this important?
More businesses, neighborhoods and municipalities are using solar energy. Yet, New Hampshire is lagging behind other Northeastern states in solar energy. It energy doesn't pollute our air, it helps create good green jobs and has no fuel costs.
Governor Maggie Hassan has an opportunity to commit to getting 10,000 solar roofs by the end of the decade. We need 500 Granite Staters to send a message to the Governor by April 4th.
