Governor Malloy, restore the independence and budget of the Connecticut Citizens Election Commission so that citizens can have faith in the integrity of our state government.
Why is this important?
I worked very hard to make public financing of CT legislative elections a reality in 1996. The Citizen Elections Commission is being destroyed by fewer employees, lack of clear, independent authority by Governor's "consolidation".
