Governor Pence, we hoosiers are in the need of quality health care for the poor. With over 800.000 with out insurance you are saying that they should go to the Emergency Room (very costly), use charity care and go to free health clinics ( where are free health clinics in Indiana) Please reconsider extending Medicaid for our many uninsured as HIP does not cover dental or eye care so needed and so costly without insurance.
Why is this important?
I am starting this petition because at Sojourner Truth House in Gary, Indiana as a RN volunteering here and seeing many uninsured persons who have no access to a Medical Home and continuing medical care it raises many questions as to why our Governor Pence has no concern for the many with out health insurance.
