Arcadio J. Nova (AJ); a devoted father of five; small business owner; and
community servant who is currently serving a life sentence, based on deeply

Arcadio J. Nova is a family man whose life exemplifies the “American Dream”,
until it was derailed by a wrongful conviction. Raised in Washington Heights, New
York, AJ demonstrated remarkable resilience when he stepped up to support his
family after his father’s untimely death. He later earned his associate degree in
Computer Information Systems; opened a Christian bookstore in Paterson, New
Jersey, and built a life centered on family, faith, and community service.
