Have strong and uniform gun safety laws throughout the state so we can stop the daily killings of kids in Chicago. Ban assault weapons, magzines having more than 10 rounds and legislate background checks on every gun buyer.
Why is this important?
Many kids die in South Side of Chicago every day. Even though Chicago has strict gun safety laws, guns come in from neigbouring towns and cities. We need to stop this carnage by having uniform gun safety laws in the whole state just like New York.
