Help save Kenova Elementary. The West Virginia Department of Education should take responsibility for closing the original school building and build a new, permanent Kenova Elementary School.
Why is this important?
My daughter attends Kenova Elementary School, which had its building closed by the state of West Virginia in May 2011 due to a sink hole. The lease for the modular units currently housing the school expires in June 2014 and there is currently not a plan for a permanent school. Our children's education should be our top priority, and the state should take responsibility for their actions and build a new school for Kenova Elementary.
