Green Energy

With an abundance of dried lake beds and barren mountaintops, and being one of the driest states in the country, Utah has two of the greatest sources of domestic power available to it - sun and wind. Stop the debate about coal & uranium mining and stripping mountaintops and use that newly saved time to create sustainable, energy options in our own backyards.

Why is this important?

They're abundant, they're renewable and they're considered a "nuisance" but solar and wind power are two nearly limitless sources of energy we can be tapping in to on a daily basis. Meanwhile, we debate and argue for or against limited sources such as coal and uranium, which are not only harmful to our health and the environment but will eventually run dry.
