A civilized society is typified by thoughtful, forward-looking policies There is no justification for private ownership of guns, whose only function is to shoot, wound and kill. Marksmen can practice at ranges where they can borrow or rent weapons. Hunters could have the same: check them in and check them out. As to the second amendment: it clearly refers to a militia, which is the National Guard. They check their weapons in and out. Get rid of the guns!
Why is this important?
The dead and wounded of our nation require us to stop our current thinking and actions and eliminate guns from our society. We do not need guns, and they hurt us.
