Create a federal/state multi-level task force to study gun control with the intention of restricting mass public murders yet retaining the intentions of the founding fathers who included the right to bear arms in the Constitution.
Why is this important?
We have to protect our constitutional right to bear arms with a solution to the proliferation of mass murders, i.e., Virginia Tech, Sen. Giffords' incident in Arizona, and most recently in Colorado, to name a few. The constitution was written to defend against internal military coupe d'etat; we have converted that intent to where it permits anarchy by the individual. We must find the balanced solution.
