It is time to change the "Gun Free Zone" to a special permit zone. Any legal licensed CCW holder that takes an extra class in handgun protection (offered for free to school faculty and administrators) will be allowed to carry in this zone.
Why is this important?
As the father of four daughters I feel the time is now for us to look at reforming the "gun free zone".
