To hold gun owners personally & criminally liable if they allow their guns to fall into irresposible peoples hands.
Why is this important?
I believe that if people would be held liable for their guns they would be more diligent about keeping them locked up. almost everyone I grew up with hunted & owned a variety of guns. kids and irresponsible family members could not gain access to them.
