Gun Safety Reform in Rhode Island

Since 2013, bills to ban the sale of military style assault weapons, large capacity magazines and to keep guns out of our schools have not received a vote in the House or Senate. We now have majority support in both chambers for these bills. We have had 8 years of testifying and debate, it is now time to allow a vote on these bills.

Why is this important?

No single reform will keep our communities safe gun violence - it is the interconnection of common-sense laws that provides the best protection against gun violence.
