Let's add gym memberships and vitamin supplements to the eligible medical expense list and be able to use our HRA/HSA/FSA accounts to pay for them.
Why is this important?
HSA/HRA accounts are the medical plans for employers and individuals. We can use these accounts to pay for co-pays and Viagra. However, those accounts will not cover gym memberships and supplements such as vitamin D. Let us follow Mrs. Obama's lead and make preventative health care a priority.
