The city & state of New york are looking for solutions to the gang and gun violence among our youth. for over 40 years the Harlem Youth Marine Cadets inc have been providing youth prevention services by mentoring and using a military approach to foster discipline & structure to our youth. the harlem youth marines teaches cadets how to lead and give back to the community the harlem youth marines inc is a non profit 501c3 community base organization CBO that operates after school and on weekends the founder and ceo often asked why this organization is not a school.
Why is this important?
If communities want to see a change in behavior in our youth its up to the productives citizens to support the structured programs that can help our youth be productive in the community.
