Heceta Shores Stabalization Project.

1. Nothing should be done. Because a large part of Natural Public Beach and Public Forest Service Land should not be permanently changed to save two homes that should never been allowed to be built that close to the ocean.

2. If something is done it should be the Sand Bags because if they fail as the rocks have they can be completely removed or adjusted slightly for changes that WILL occur.

3. I can only approve this if there is some guaranty that the people putting the Sand Bags in are willing to pay to have them all removed if it’s a failure. Just like the Forest Service requires derelict Cabins from Forest Service lands to be removed. Check the Oregon Forest Service Home Owners Association. Homes including septic tanks and all are required to be removed.

4. The rock that has been moved by the ocean into the middle of Sutton creek should be removed and put back on the revetment as to not impede Salmon. The rock that is already there could be used on the corner to help with rebounding wave action from the east wall that you propose.

Why is this important?
