Help FL's Poverty Workforce!!

We support raising the minimum wage here in Florida to a level of survivability! When FDR created a 'minimum' wage, he was quoted as saying "that any business that does not pay it workers a living wage should not be allowed to do business in our country'. How many companies, like Wal-Mart, are robbing this country through underpaying the workforce and receiving subsidies?? What is more vital to a company and it's profit, the shareholders or the employees?? We fail ourselves when paying dividends is more important than the employee welfare!! Allowing all service industry workers to be labeled as 'unskilled' shows a lack of compassion, especially in a service economy state!! If 60%+ of all the workforce is 'unskilled' and underpaid, how can we not take the blame for failing one another and be held responsible for creating class warfare?? Are the wealthy really that more important, have you people not read your Bibles, of any religion for that matter?? How is it that we can not support our families, with two incomes, doing the same jobs that our parents and grandparents were able to retire from with one income??
