Help protect teens from unrealistic body images
Brandy Melvielle, and other like brands that are targeted at teens, say they are inclusive and one size fits all. However, their marketing says otherwise. All the images portray one body type-tall and skinny.
Teens already experience a high level of body image anxiety. They are then flooded with images that set unrealistic expectations. As a result, many teens are insecure and experience higher levels of anxiety and depression.

Why is this important?
Please join GSEP Troop 41140 to raise awareness of the impact of fashion images and marketing on teens. We want to call on teen focused brands and their leadership teams to use models that reflect size inclusiveness in an effort to support teen mental health!
