Help bring better equality to people with ALL types of mental disabilities. In the American's with Disabilities Act, Dogs whose sole job is to provide comfort or emotional support do NOT qualify as service dogs.
Why is this important?
Depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, etc. can be just debilitating as any other disability just in different ways. I can personally testify to this and believe that some people may be able to lead a more normal and/or more fulfilled life if they could have the comfort and emotional support that a dog can provide with them when and where ever they are needed.
