We ask that the Williamstown Township Stop the proceedings against the owners of Sweet Pea Farms. We also ask that the township acknowledge that the family's farm is protected by the Michigan Right to farm act of 1981.
Why is this important?
This family has been fighting with the Williamstown Township in Michigan over their small farm. Before they moved in they asked if there were any restrictions on animals, and was told no. Now the township leaders are trying to tell the family that they have to get rid of their animals even though they are protected by the Right to farm act.
