We should immediately raise the minimum wage in Texas to $9/hour
for all our workers (incuding eliminate the unfair tip laws)so that they can better provide for themselves and their families and don't have to rely on the government and charity to feed their families, pay their rent and survive.
Why is this important?
As a landlord I deal with tenants all the time that work full time and still don't have the money to survive.
