Hemp 4 Jobs NC

American
Farmers should be able to capitalize on the nearly 500 million dollars
that Americans spend each year on Industrial Hemp products. Sourcing
hemp domestically instead of importing from Canada, China, France, and
England will stimulate economic development in economically challenged
rural communities. Hemp means jobs, American jobs, job that will make rural communities thrive.

Industrial grade hemp is an agricultural crop that unequivocally can not be
used as a drug. Accordingly, it should be under the per view of the
Department of Agriculture, not the Drug Enforcement Authority as it
presently is.

Industrial hemp is intimately apart of American heritage. Betsy Ross
spun the first American flags from hemp fiber. Important historical
documents, including the Discoloration of Independence were transcribed on
hemp paper. During World War II American Farmers were mandated to grow
hemp for plethora of items vital to winning the war.
