Henry County in Support of Mosaic School of the Arts Charter School

I submit that I reside within the Henry County Schools boundaries, and I support the start-up of Mosaic School of the Arts Charter School, Inc. (MSOTA), a 9-12 free public charter school. I understand that this school will be a tuition-free school of choice located within the Henry County School district and is proposed to start up August 2013.

The mission for Mosaic School of the Arts Charter School, Inc. is to provide a high quality arts based college preparatory and skills driven curriculum for students to graduate and succeed in college and their prospective fields. The MSOTA will use a 9-12 fine arts and academic curriculum, focusing on the visual and performing arts relating to the content in every subject area. Our vision is a school community where learning takes place for all.

Why is this important?

The mission for Mosaic School of the Arts School, Inc. is to educate life-long learners and productive citizens to succeed in college and their prospective fields to create a better global society. Our goal is to address the intuitive nature of the whole child by satisfying the human desire to create, interpret, understand, express and enjoy learning and discovering by engaging students academically and fostering critical thinking skills. The school will boast an International Baccalaureate curriculum with a visual and fine arts magnet program.
