Higher Education Funding

Higher education is under attack in the state of Missouri. The state legislature and the governor have facilitated cuts which put public universities in a position where they have to lay off teachers and raise tuition for students. While doing this, they simultaneously cut state income tax rates for the wealthiest residents. We must pressure the state government to change their budget so that people other than the wealthiest can go to a university.
