Higher Wages for Texas Restaurant Servers

It has been 23 years since Texas adopted $2.13 an hour for servers!! It is time that the restaurant pays at least minimum wage of $7.25 for servers. I don't think it is fair that these companies expect the people to pay their wages, because inflation is so high 90 percent of the people either don't tip or tip less than $3. I believe this is important to our work force as a community to help support our struggling workers. You can not live off of $2.13 an hour and we the servers have not had a raise in 23 years. No one truly knows what one makes, for instance I work over night I'm less likely to get $30 in tips. With the food prices sky rocketing people just don't want to tip.
