The Big Apple is deserving of a Democratic Party Debate. Some may argue it is the bastion of liberalism in the U.S. We can at least agree that it is a special place, especially near and dear to the hearts of the two remaining candidates.
Why is this important?
New York City's prominence among progressive circles makes it self-evident that it host one of the additional debates. As this election is, to a large degree, about determining the direction of the Democratic Party, it is imperative that New York City's voices are heard and questions answered before a nationally televised audience.
