Hold DNI Clapper accountable for lying to the Senate about the NSA on March 12, 2013

The administration should suspend Director of National Intelligence Clapper immediately and request his resignation. A criminal investigation must be carried out to determine if Clapper perjured himself under oath to the Senate Intelligence Committee when asked about surveillance of Americans in the United States.

On On March 12, 2013, DNI Clapper had the following exchange with Senator Wyden:

WYDEN: "Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?"

CLAPPER: "No, Sir"

If this type of behavior is indeed criminal and without consequences then we are lost a nation. We demand an investigation.

Why is this important?

Perjury is a crime and Clapper is not above the law. This serious crime must be acted upon by this administration if we are not to allow total mockery of the rule of law.
