If Congress is unable to pass a budget, they should pay the price, not us. It's time for a constitutional amendment that fires all the members of Congress in the event a budget is not passed. A continuing resolution runs the government status quo until elections are held to fill the vacancies.
Why is this important?
The Tea Party is hurting the American people and holding the government hostage because it didn't get its way. And the Speaker of the House is abusing his power for his own personal gain.
