Hold Jeff Sessions Accountable: Call for his resignation
The Washington Post just revealed that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath at his confirmation hearing about his contacts with Russian officials during the presidential campaign, when he was a foreign policy advisor to Trump.
Recusing himself from Russia investigations is not enough. The fact that he perjured himself demands his immediate resignation and the appointment of a special prosecutor by his successor to lead a comprehensive investigation of the Trump campaign and the Trump administration's ties to the Russian government.

Why is this important?
We, the American people deserve to have officials representing us who tell the truth and when they don't, as is the case with Jeff Sessions, they need to resign. We also deserve a full investigation into Trump and his campaign, and cabinet appointees related to ties to Russia. This is a nonpartisan concern...it is a concern for all Americans and the health of our democracy.
