All of our beloved country there is this terrible thing that plagues our nation, it goes by the name of "Superdelegates". What gives them the right to not only be " Super", but vote opposite of what their constituency demands? For example Kim Metcalfe of Alaska, even though her voters caucused an astounding 75% victory for Bernie Sanders she still pledges her "Superdelegate" vote to Hillary?
Why is this important?
Not only does factors like these contribute to voter suppression, but goes everything democracy and our country stand for. Superdelegates just like delegates themselves should be held accountable to their constituency, they are the ones that voted you into office, now that you are there it is your JOB to adhere to your voters demands. It is your job and responsibility to uphold the values of your voters and see them through to the end regardless of who will line your pockets. Stand with me and demand that those elected officials follow the example their voters and the people of this great nation set for those that are meant to represent them.
