McConnell set the precedent when he blocked any consideration of Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, and the election was a lot further off than the mid-terms are now.
What we have now is an illegitimate president with multiple scandals and transparent corruption, and multiple indictments of his equally corrupt appointees. It’s like Tony Soprano is in the Whitehouse.
Let the people speak and hold off on any consideration of another Supreme Court Justice until after the election.
Why is this important?
I’m sickened at the idea that 45 is going to push through another right wing Supreme Court Justice who will set the clock back for another generation. It’s already bad enough we have a wrecking ball in the Whitehouse. We may be able to get rid of him, but we will have to live with a reactionary Supreme Court long after 45 goes to prison.
