We demand that you receive no payment for overtime sessions when you cannot get needed and critical bills passed. We as Kansans are tired of paying you overtime for not completing your tasks in a timely fashion. If you need overtime to complete things, then you are on your own. Us taxpayers refuse to foot the bill.
Why is this important?
Our state is $400 million dollars in the red. The Kansas legislators spent close to $1 million dollars in overtime working on a budget.
Really, spend more money when we already do not have any?
The budget should have been taken care of in normal session. What were they thinking?
