Please don't go back to business as usual after a few days of mourning. Keep negative ads off the Colorado airwaves for 70 days in honor of the 70 victims of the July 20th Aurora Massacre.
Why is this important?
I have lived in Colorado for 17 years, 14 in the Denver Metro area. While I have not been personally affected by yesterday's shootings, I am struck this morning by the way violence and hatred are woven deeply into our cultural fabric. After this senseless act of violence, let's do something that makes sense. Let's change the political conversation in honor of the victims.
