Our nation should provide means to enforce current laws that require background checks for buying all firearms, pass legislation to require background checks at any location where guns are sold, including gun shows, and provide law enforcement with gun records to enable them to remove firearms from convicted felons even though they bought the arms before their conviction. We must stop criminals from owning and purchasing firearms.
Why is this important?
The constant rhetoric of radical gun lobbyists is stopping the rational implementation of common sense actions to stop gun violence. Gun violence is due to the easy availability of guns to criminals.
