House Republicans are trying to restrict a low-income food aide program to only cater to children in rural areas, edging out "urban" youth during summer programs.
It's no coincidence that this anti-children move favors areas dominated by whites and conservatives while cheating out children in predominantly liberal, minority neighborhoods.
Call on the House to re-expand the program to help inner-city kids too!
Why is this important?
We can't let the GOP keep slashing crucial food programs for kids, only helping the children of conservative voters.
